Do I need any experience to take a freediving course?

No prior freediving experience is needed. You should be comfortable in water and able to swim 200 metres continuously. Our Discover Freediving course is designed for complete beginners.

How long does a freediving course take?

It depends on the level. Discover Freediving is a half-day session. The Molchanovs Wave 1 (beginner certification) runs over two days, covering theory, pool training, and open water dives. Higher-level courses range from two to four days.

What is included in the course fee?

All courses include instruction, theory materials, pool or open water session fees, and equipment rental. Certification courses also include your Molchanovs certification fee and access to online training plans after completion.

What is the difference between Lap and Wave courses?

Lap courses focus on pool skills only — breath-hold, technique, and dynamic swimming. Wave courses include everything in Lap plus open water depth training. Both offer Molchanovs certification at the same theory level.
