Refund policy

This policy covers physical item purchases and course/workshop/training enrolments.

Physical Items

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something arrives faulty, damaged, or isn't what you ordered, we'll arrange a refund or exchange. Please note that we do not accept change-of-mind returns.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be in its original condition — unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and Issues

Please let us know within 14 days of your delivery date as confirmed by the courier if anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect. The sooner we hear from you, the sooner we can sort it out.

Shipping Costs

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If we require a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item to be returned, we will cover the return shipping costs.

Sale Items

We're unable to accept returns on sale items.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a little additional time to post it. If 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still haven't seen it, please reach out to us at info@zenfreediving.org.


Courses, workshops, and training sessions

Courses, workshops, and training sessions (both group and private) are generally non-refundable.

If a medical reason prevents you from attending, please email us at info@zenfreediving.org as soon as possible with a doctor's certificate or medical memo and we'll advise whether a refund or reschedule is appropriate. All such requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Where a refund is approved, an administrative fee may be deducted based on the nature of the cancellation and costs incurred. We reserve the right to decline requests that don't meet our criteria.

Where rescheduling is appropriate, the following guidelines apply:

  1. Limit on schedule changes: We allow a maximum of two (2) rescheduling requests per enrolment.
  2. Completion timeline: Your course must be completed within one year of your original start date. For multi-component courses, each component (theory, pool, depth) can only be taken once within this period. We're unable to provide refunds or transfers for enrolments not completed within this timeframe.
  3. For private sessions, a rescheduling fee may apply to cover logistical costs already incurred; you will be advised of any applicable fee at the time of your request.

Group and Paired Enrolments

Medical eligibility applies only to the individual with the medical condition. Co-participants who choose not to proceed are not entitled to refunds or rescheduling on that basis. However, where operationally feasible, we may at our discretion allow a group or pair to reschedule together at the eligible participant's request. This counts as a rescheduling request for all participants and a rescheduling fee may apply.


Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable.
