Underwater & Beach Clean Up, 29 Nov 2026

Ready to give back to the ocean that gives us so much? Join us for our next community clean-up held at Singapore’s Southern Islands, where freedivers and non-divers come together to clean up our beaches and reefs. 

This is part of our ongoing series of underwater and beach clean-ups. Across ten previous events, our community has pulled over one tonne of trash from Singapore’s beaches and waters. Every event adds to that number, and with your help, the next one will too!

Everyone has a role:

• Freedivers: Head beneath the surface to recover debris from the seabed (2-5m).
• Non-divers: Join the beach clean-up above the waterline. No diving experience needed.

Programme:

• 8.45 am: Meet at Marina South Pier, board ferry to the Southern Islands
• 9.30 am: Arrive at Southern Islands, move to clean-up areas
• 10.00 am: Clean-up begins (underwater and beach)
• 12.00 pm: Bag and weigh collected trash
• 12.30 pm: Showers and free time on the island
• 1.30 pm: Board ferry back to Marina South Pier
• 2.30 pm: Arrive back at Marina South Pier

What’s included

• Return ferry transport to and from the Southern Islands via Marina South Pier (covered by your participation fee)
• Gloves and mesh bags, provided on site

What to bring

• Your own diving equipment (divers only)
• Food and water, ideally packed in reusable containers
• A change of clothes for after the clean-up
