This course will introduce you to the beauty of breath hold diving and cover some basic techniques. The course consists of a 1 hour classroom session (via video conferencing) followed by a day where you will try the static and dynamic disciplines of freediving, as well as a bit of depth diving.
The practical part of the course will take place in a sheltered bay in the Southern Islands (due to Covid-19 pool restrictions). The cost is $160 and includes boat transfers, as well as use of equipment.
This course requires a minimum of 2 students to run. If we are unable to run the course, we will notify you 2 days before the course and offer to reschedule or a refund.
This course is for people who have tried freediving in a pool setting and want to try it out in the ocean before taking a certification course.
Over the course of a day, with 2 dive sessions included, you will learn equalisation techniques, and how to descend with the assistance of a rope (termed "free immersion) and with fins (termed "constant weight").
The course will be held in the waters surrounding the Southern Islands of Singapore. The cost is $160 and includes the use of equipment and boat transfers.
In order to take this course, you must have done our Discover Freediving pool course before, or taken the Molchanovs Lap 1 course (or equivalent).
