Introduction to Freediving (Molchanovs Wave 1)

Probably the most rewarding and challenging course which covers the fundamentals of freediving.

A great starting point for people who are already very comfortable in the water. For example, you may want to consider this course if you are an experienced snorkeler, scuba diver or swimmer.

The course will begin with a theory session covering the physics, physiology, equipment, disciplines and safety of freediving (via independent study through online videos). From there we will move to a pool session where we will be conducting breathing and equalisation exercises, as well as practising static and dynamic disciplines, and safety and rescue techniques.

The second day of the course we will travelling to the Southern Islands to have an open water session, where we practise freediving techniques for depth and equalization. On the successful completion of the course, you will receive your Molchanovs Wave 1 freediver certification.

The cost is $590 per person for a group lesson, This includes the cost of transportation to and from the Southern Islands on our very own private freediving boat, use of equipment (mask, snorkel and fins), as well as 2 free pool training sessions (worth $60)*. Wetsuits are optional, but recommended if you tend to get cold easily.

This course requires a minimum of 2 students to run. If we are unable to run the course, we will notify you 2 days before the course and offer to reschedule or a refund.

*The week of free trainings sessions has to be used 2 weeks (14 days) immediately after Day 2 of the course.

*We will be running a Wave 1 course in Bali on 26-30 Oct 2019. Join us if you would like to kick off your freediving experience in the clear blue waters of Bali!
