Freediving trip to Amed, Bali, 4 - 7 Nov 2023

Join us for a long weekend of freediving training, fun dives and and relaxation in the peaceful village of Amed, Bali. 

The Location

We will be based at Ocean Prana, a freediving centre located in Jemeluk Bay, Amed. The centre is 15m from the beach and features training spots up to 50m deep a short swimming distance away. Jemeluk bay is protected from waves, wind and current, with beautiful snorkelling and recreational dive sites.

Getting to Amed

Amed is about 2.5 hours from Bali airport. Hop on one of the many flights to Bali, get into your transport (arrange for a pick-up prior to arrival) and before you know it, you're there! 

The Schedule 

Here is a sample of the daily schedule that we will have:

• 9.30-10 am: Stretching, meditation and visualisation
• 10 am-12 pm: Depth dive session
• 1-3pm: Lunch and rest 
• 3-5 pm: Second depth dive session on day 1 & 3 | Fun dives on day 2 (boat trip) & 4 (wreck dive)

Accommodation

There are many options to suit different comfort levels and budgets, which are available for booking on various booking platforms, or direct with the accommodation. Ocean Prana also offers accommodation as a convenient option. 

Course or Training options

Molchanovs Lap to Wave (1-3) upgrades are available during this trip (you must have taken the Lap 1, 2 or 3 course before for each respective upgrade). You can also choose to do training sessions instead of a course upgrade.

If you have never taken a freediving course before, you can take the Molchanovs Lap 1 course with us in Singapore and finish the depth requirements during this trip. 

Inclusions & Exclusions

Prices include all training and certification costs.

Accommodation, travel, meals and equipment are not included. 

Equipment

You will need a mask, snorkel, wetsuit, weight belt and weights/neckweight, lanyard and fins for the trip (optional: nose clip, yoga mat). We highly recommend that you bring your own equipment. To get kitted out, check out our store for high quality gear. Alternatively, equipment rental is available from us or Ocean Prana.

Booking and cancellation policy
Full payment is needed to secure your spot. If you are unable to make it at the last moment, you can postpone the value of your booking to our next trip.

Travel
Please check the current visa requirements for your nationality to travel to Indonesia and ensure that you have the appropriate visa, if required.
